WINDSTOPPER® FABRICS
Every square inch of the WINDSTOPPER® membrane contains 1.4 billion micropores. This revolutionary structure is ultra-light, ultra-thin, and highly resistant to extreme temperatures. The microporous structure of the WINDSTOPPER® membrane ensures maximum breathability; cold wind is kept out, but moisture vapor can easily escape. Integrated into the ePTFE portion of the membrane is a hydrophobic, or water-hating, substance to keep external moisture away from your skin. This thermo-regulating effect keeps you comfortable longer, so you can be at your best.
GARMENT TESTING.
Before garments are launched they are vigorously tested in realistic applications of extreme weather conditions to ensure not only the laminate but also the seam seals, zips and other closures are completely waterproof. Only when all tests are successfully completed does GORE® award a garment with its seal of approval.
